East & Southern Africa. These holidays cover some of the most outstandingly
beautiful and fascinating places on earth. Travel is our business and
we ensure a quality of product and service that is second to none. We
have years of experience within Africa, enabling us to provide you with
what you require.

BOOKING
TERMS & CONDITIONS
TOUR PRICE
The tour price quoted in the brochures is subject to change without
prior notice, Safari Africa will confirm all prices before you book
your holiday. Your holiday dossier will indicate what is and what is
not included in the tour price. Flights to and from Africa are not included
in the cost of the safaris in the itineraries. All flights are A.B.T.A
and ATOL bonded and booked with well-known and reputable companies within
the travel industry. We can book your flights for you or we will supply
you with all the information you require so that you can book the flights
On-Line or through your local Travel Agent.
PAYMENT
Deposit: A deposit amounting to 25% of the total cost of the safari,
together with a signed Booking Form, is needed to confirm the safari.
On selected safaris, deposits are non-refundable.
Final Payment: The balance is due a minimum of 60 days prior to your
departure. *Bookings made less than 60 days prior to your departure,
payment is required in full. (*See Late Bookings)
Flights: For Safari Africa Ltd to book your flights, full payment of
the flights is required at the time of booking and your tickets will
be forwarded to you within a couple of days.
Safari Africa
sells only ground handling services in Africa and does not sell flights
to Africa and nor are we bonded to do so. International Flights booked
through Safari Africa are handled by well known and reputable companies
within the travel industry who are ABTA and ATOL holders and are bonded
to offer international flights.
CANCELLATION
All cancellations should be made in writing and sent to the registered
office of Safari Africa at Safari Africa Ltd, 1 Manor Cottage, St. Michaels
on Wyre, Preston, Lancashire, PR3 0TR. ENGLAND. Only upon receipt of
the cancellation will the cancellation procedure be put into place.
On cancellations made outside 90 days prior to your departure, deposits
will be returned less any expenses incurred, unless deposits were stated
as non-refundable at the time of booking. Safaris cancelled between
90 and 61 days prior to departure - deposits are not refundable. For
cancellations between 60 and 45 days prior to your departure, a charge
of 50% of the total cost of the safari will apply. Inside 45 days a
charge of 100% of the cost of the safari will apply. These cancellation
conditions should be covered by your travel insurance.
INDEMNITY
AND LIABILITY
Any safari is potentially hazardous and it is essential that all lawful
directions and advice of the safari operator be followed. Safari Africa
Ltd and any safari company acting on it's behalf, accept no responsibility
for any illness, accident or loss whatsoever incurred in the course
of the safari or for any expense from such illness, accident or loss.
ALTERATION
OF SAFARIS
Safari Africa Ltd and any safari company acting on it's behalf, reserves
the right to withdraw any safari, eliminate any feature or alter the
itinerary, should local conditions necessitate.
INSURANCE
It is a booking requirement that all travellers take out comprehensive
travel insurance. This should be done at the time your booking is confirmed
and your deposit paid. All clients should be fully insured against accident,
all medical eventualities, repatriation, cancellation, curtailment and
default. Safari Africa Ltd or any safari company acting on it's behalf,
cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage and personal
effects, this should be covered by your travel insurance policy.
LATE BOOKINGS
A Late Booking is when you contact us 60 days or less from the day you
are wanting to travel. We will attempt to accommodate any late bookings,
subject to a non refundable payment of £50. Upon you booking the holiday
this charge is deducted from the cost of your safari.
PASSPORT AND VISAS
It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure that all passport
and visa requirements are fulfilled prior to departure. Passports must
have at least 6 month validity from the date of your RETURN from Africa.
HEALTH
All guests must understand that while a high level of fitness is not
required, a measure of physical activity is involved in all Safari Africa
tours. It is the responsibility of clients to advise us prior to departure
of any specific medical conditions. Anti-malaria precautions must be
taken, and these are the sole responsibility of the client. Consult
your doctor or pharmacist. We can arrange safaris for people with special
needs, please contact us for further information.
AIRLINE RESPONSIBILITY
The airline concerned is not to be held responsible for any act, omission
or event during the time the guests are not on board their aircraft.
The passenger tickets issued by the airline, when issued, shall constitute
the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tickets
and/or passengers.
RESPONSIBILITY
Neither Safari Africa nor any person acting for, through or on behalf
of the Safari Africa shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever
arising from any cause whatsoever and without restricting the generality
of the foregoing shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage
arising from any errors or omissions contained in these pages or any
other literature, late of non-confirmation or acceptance of bookings,
loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death, whether
occasioned by negligence or not. The person making any booking will,
by the making of such booking, warrant that he or she has authority
to enter into a contract on behalf of the other person/s included in
such a booking and in the event of the failure of any or all of the
other persons so included to make payment, the person making the booking
shall by his/her submission of the booking form assume personal liability
for the total price of all bookings made by him/her.
SAFARI COMPANIES
Some safari companies will demand that you agree to their terms and
conditions as well as to the terms and conditions already listed above,
also their cancellation procedures may also alter, in such a case then
their conditions will apply and supersede the terms and conditions of
Safari Africa Ltd.
