THE OKAVANGO SAFARI
6 Days / 5 Nights

DAY 1: MAUN - BUSH CAMP We are welcomed on The Okavango Safari at Maun airport by our guide, and transferred to our camp near Maun. The first evening in the African bush is spent relaxing around the campfire under the bright stars of the southern hemisphere. (Dinner).

DAYS 2/3: OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI The channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta are explored on a boat excursion with lunch being enjoyed on an island. We make our way back to our camp during an afternoon game drive, taking in the changing colours of an African sunset. (All meals).

DAYS 4/5: KHWAI AREA OF MOREMI After breakfast, we move our camp to the Khwai flood plains, and continue to explore the ever-changing scenery of the reserve with our guide. Enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives, we uncover the secrets of this pristine wilderness area in search of the many species of animal and birdlife that make Moremi their home. (All meals).

DAY 6: MOREMI – MAUN An early morning game drive takes us out of Moremi returning to Maun where lunch is enjoyed at a local restaurant (own expense). We transfer to the airport to board our onward flight. The Okavango Safari itinerary will depend on local conditions and may operate in the reverse direction.

DAY 1 : Maun
DAY 2/3 : Central Kalahari
DAY 4/5 : Nxai Pan National Park
DAY 6 : Maun

Serviced safari: No camp duties.
Accommodation: 5 nights camping in secluded bush camps in the Botswana Reserves.
Meals: Prepared by the guide and cook, all meals when camping.
Lunch not included on days 1 & 6.
Drinks are excluded and may be purchased in Maun, prior to departure.
Group size: 2-8 participants per vehicle (two vehicles travel together on certain departures). Transfers: Airport transfers are provided in Maun on day 1 and day 6.

Extend your Okavango Safari:
Option 1. Victoria Falls/ Livingstone:
Visit the famous Victoria Falls – one of the natural wonders of the world. Stay at a luxury lodge (River Club, The Royal Livingstone or Victoria Falls Safari Lodge) situated on the banks of the upper Zambezi. Fly from Maun to Kasane, with a road transfer to either Livingstone (Zambia) or Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). We can assist with reservations for the flight, transfers and accommodation at the lodge of your choice.

Option 2. Tropical beaches of Moçambique:
3 or 4 nights in Moçambique at a lodge on the coast, or exclusive lodges on the Bazaruto Islands.
