Okavango Area of Moremi - Moremi Wildlife Reserve - Khwai Plains Explore Botswana's finest wildlife sanctuaries on a fully serviced classic mobile safari 'under canvas' in secluded bush camps situated in the famous Moremi Wildlife Reserve.
A safari crew travelling in a separate vehicle erects the comfortable camp. A professional safari guide conducts early morning and late afternoon game drives and you will have time to relax and absorb the magnificent wilderness atmosphere of our secluded private bush camps. An experienced chef prepares excellent bush cuisine, enjoyed in the dining tent or under the stars. Africa in style…
Day 1: MAUN - OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI
Your guide welcomes you at Maun Airport and we travel to our secluded
bush camp in Moremi Wildlife Reserve. After a delicious three course dinner
we enjoy the sounds of the African night. (dinner)
Days 2 & 3: OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI
The reserve is situated in the north eastern corner of the Okavango Delta.
It is a pure wilderness area of great beauty, rich green vegetation, palm
trees, teeming with birdlife and a vast population of animals. We spend
our time exploring the area on game drives. On one of the days we travel
into the heart of the Delta on a boat exploration cruise. (full board)
Days 4 & 5: MOREMI WILDLIFE RESERVE - KHWAI
After breakfast, we travel to the Khwai flood plains, exploring the area
on the way. Our camp has been set up in another remote part of the reserve.
We enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives uncovering the secrets
of this wilderness area. (full board)
Day 6: MOREMI TO MAUN
After breakfast, we return to Maun at +-14h00 and have lunch at the local
restaurant (own expense). We transfer to the airport to board our onward
flight. (breakfast)
GRADING: Fully Serviced Classic Mobile Tented Safari
Secluded bush camps are used in the Moremi Reserve. A safari team erect/
dismantle the camp and attend to all duties. Accommodation: 5 nights in
walk-in safari tents 'under canvas' furnished with 2 comfortable beds,
linen, blankets, pillows, dressing table, en-suite bathroom with toilet
and shower.
Meals: All meals with table wine in the evening while on safari. Breakfast
only on day 6. Group size: 4-8 Participants.
Transfers: Airport transfers are provided in Maun on Day 1 and 6.
