Important Notice: Arrive the day before the safari departs - the transfer from the Airport to the Randburg Towers Hotel with your overnight accommodation on Bed & Breakfast Basis is included in the cost of the safari.

Day 1: JOHANNESBURG - KALAHARI DESERT
We depart at 06h30 from the Randburg Towers in Randburg, north of Johannesburg and travel in the direction of the Botswana border. We install our bush camp in the Kalahari Desert. In the evening we admire the bright stars of the southern hemisphere around our campfire.

Day 2: KALAHARI DESERT - MAUN
We arrive in Maun - the "gateway" to the Okavango Delta. We prepare for the excursion in the delta and organize last supplies before going into the bush.

Days 3 & 4: OKAVANGO DELTA
We set up our bush camp in a remote area and explore the delta on mokoro rides and game walks (subject to the water level of the delta). The birdlife is prolific and we take time to simply appreciate the remoteness and serenity of the Okavango.

Days 5 & 6: MOREMI WILDLIFE RESERVE
We leave early for Moremi Wildlife Reserve, created in 1968 by the Tawana tribe and considered by many travellers to be the finest game park in Southern Africa. The reserve is situated in the northeastern corner of the Okavango Delta. It is a pure wilderness area of great beauty, with rich green vegetation, palm trees, teeming with birdlife and a vast population of wild animals. We spend our time exploring the reserve in our open 4x4 safari vehicle.

Day 7: MOREMI - OKAVANGO RIVER LODGE
We return to Maun for an optional scenic flight (own expense) over the Okavango Delta.

Days 8 & 9: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
The 11 600 km² park contains one of the largest concentrations of wild animals in Africa. Vast herds of buffalo, elephant, zebra, kudu, lechwe, puku and many others inhabit the waterways of Chobe. Predators such lion and leopard are regularly observed. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets. We enjoy an early morning game-drive and in the afternoon a game viewing cruise on the Chobe River.

Days 10 & 11: VICTORIA FALLS/ LIVINGSTONE
We travel across the Zimbabwe or Zambian border to Victoria Falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most unforgettable scenic spectacles, where the waters of the Zambezi River tumble down in continuous thunder. Various optional excursions are available: a helicopter flight over the Falls, white water rafting, bungi jumping, abseiling, elephant back safaris, canoeing.

Day 12: MAKGADIKGADI PANS
The pans are the remains of a gigantic ancient lake of 6 500 km² where the Okavango River used to flow. The sunset over the pans is unforgettable.

Day 13: MAKGADIKGADI PANS - MOLALA TAU
We cross the Limpopo River into South Africa and install our camp at Molala Tau (The resting-place of the lion). We enjoy the grassy campsite under the shade of acacia trees.

Day 14: MOLALA TAU - JOHANNESBURG
We return to the Randburg Towers, Johannesburg at +-16h00. The itinerary will depend on local conditions.
