Collis Safari
Visiting Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia.
I would suggest you fly into Johannesburg with a connecting flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. You will be collected on arrival at Victoria Falls Airport.
Days 1 & 2: Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls, a popular and exciting destination. The Falls themselves are one of the natural wonders of the world that have drawn visitors to the area for decades. The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge encourages you to take advantage of all that the town and surrounding area has to offer, be it a flight over the Falls or an Elephant Back Ride. An exciting and rewarding experience!

The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is set high on a plateau which forms a natural boundary to the Zambezi National Park. It enjoys uninterrupted views of unspoilt bushveldt, spectacular African sunsets and an on site waterhole attracts regular wildlife from the surrounding area.
Activities that are on offer in Victoria Falls: A "Flight of Angel's" Helicopter flight over the Falls, Sundowner Cruise on the Upper Zambezi River. A Guided Tour of the Falls and a Guided Traditional Village Tour or just relax after your long journey.
Days 3 & 4: Chobe, Botswana.
From Victoria Falls you will transfer by road in the morning to Chobe Game Lodge.
Chobe Game Lodge must be in one of Africa's finest locations, overlooking from its shady walkways and galleries, the placid Chobe River and the vast expanse of the Caprivi floodplain beyond, with its herds of elephant, buffalo and antelope. As the only permanent lodge within the Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge shares its space, 11 700 square kilometres, with over 35 000 elephants.

Safari Activities include game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, game viewing by small boat, or sunset cruises on the Chobe River in the "Mosi oa Tunya" a 40-passenger river boat originally from Victoria Falls. Canoe excursions and bird-watching are also offered.
Day 5: Transfer back to Victoria Falls for your flight to Maun (not included in the cost). On arrival in Maun, Botswana you will be collected and taken by light aircraft to Camp Okavango for a two night stay in this luxurious camp.
Days 5 & 6: Camp Okavango.
Camp Okavango is situated on remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience.
Camp Okavango's unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of yore in the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge buildings. Meals are silver service at dining tables romantically lit by candelabra. The dining-room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around a blazing camp fire. Other lodge facilities include a cocktail bar, lounge, wildlife reference library, a secluded bird-viewing hide, shaded hammocks, reading benches and a delightful sun-deck and plunge pool for relaxation during the hot midday hours.

Camp Okavango accommodates only 22 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African-style safari tents individually situated on raised teak platforms with en-suite ablution facilities and private sun-decks. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs. Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway.

The Okavango Delta is arguably the finest wilderness wetland in the world; renowned as a haven for rare species such as the elusive sitatunga antelope and the Pel's fishing owl, the Delta is also a bird-watchers paradise.
Camp Okavango is the ideal base from which to discover the secrets of this incredible wetland ecosystem. All game-viewing activities are conducted by experienced resident naturalist guides and include exploring the Okavango by canoe and river craft on wildlife and bird-watching expeditions. Guided nature walks on the islands of the Delta afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness. Fishing for the fighting tiger-fish, pike and bream is excellent at most times of the year.
Days 7 & 8: Camp Moremi.
Camp Moremi
Camp Moremi is situated on the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta, within the Moremi Game Reserve. Here, where the life-giving waters of the Okavango meet up with vast Kalahari, ancient mopane forests, open grasslands, seasonal floodplains and riverine habitats have formed, creating one of the most magnificent and welcoming animal sanctuaries in all Africa.

Shaded by giant ebony trees, the magnificent Moremi tree lodge is an elegant elevated thatch and timber structure consisting of a main lounge, wildlife reference library, dining-room and stylishly decorated cocktail bar cooled by overhead punkah-punkah fans. The large sun-deck affords an unsurpassed view of Xakanaxa Lagoon. A curio shop, swimming pool, covered boma and elevated observation platform assures Camp Moremi of its status as Botswana's finest safari lodge.

Day 9: Transfer back to Maun for your flight to Windhoek, Namibia (not included in the price). On arrival in Windhoek you will be collected for your private charter flight to Ongava Lodge and Tented Camp where you will be spending the next couple of days.
Days 9, 10 & 11: The Ongava Experience - Lodge
Etosha is Namibia's premier wildlife park. It has great concentrations of game and there are wonderful views out onto the salt pans which dominate the centre of the park. Etosha's drawback is that the only accommodation offered within the park is in the large rest camps. Ongava Lodge offers an excellent alternative. Ongava is situated on the 35,000 hectare Ongava Private Game Reserve which shares a common border with Etosha on its southern boundary. The lodge offers the full Etosha experience but, at the same time, also offers great accommodation and service - as well as the opportunity to do night drives and nature walks which are not allowed within Etosha.

Ongava Lodge accommodates a maximum of twenty guests in ten chalets attractively built out of rock and thatch. All your creature comforts are taken care of. Each chalet has en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, a bath and a shower. The main lounge, pub and dining area is under thatch and is situated close to the top of a hill with wonderful views across the plains below. There is a pool as well.
Etosha has good concentrations of elephant, lion, leopard, black rhino and all of Namibia's plains game including springbok, gemsbok, and hartebeest. Ongava also has white rhino on the reserve so guests can experience a wonderful variety of animals during their stay. Birdlife around the waterholes is good with ostrich, pygmy falcon and all the raptors in abundance. Some of the local specials include short-toed rock thrush, Hartlaub's francolin, freckled nightjar and Meyer's parrot.
Activities in open 4x4 vehicles on Ongava Game Reserve or in Land Rovers or minibuses into Etosha National Park. Night drives and walks at Ongava.
Days 12 & 13: The Ongava Experience - Tented Camp
Ongava Tented Camp is a small classic, 12 bedded traditional tented camp. Guests sleep in comfortable "Meru" or East African classical style tents with open air, en suite bathrooms at the back of each tent. The main dining room is under thatch and there is a veranda for dining under the stars. The camp also has a pool. There is a much frequented, floodlit waterhole in front of the camp and guests experience excellent game viewing.
