DAY 1 - NAIROBI
Transfer from JKI Airport to your Nairobi hotel. Overnight at Hilton Mayfair
DAY 2 - TREEHOTEL
After breakfast drive north to the Aberdare Mountains and Mount Kenya
region to your Treehotel, for a night of watching animals come to the
floodlit water hole. This is pure theatre - a great way to introduce you
to your safari, This area is home of the Kikuyu tribe. Overnight at Mountain
Lodge
DAY 3 - SAMBURU
Drive into Kenya's rugged north eastern region, home of the colourful
Samburu tribe, crossing the Equator an route. Arrive at your riverside
lodge around noon. In the late afternoon there will be game drive in this
park, a home to some unique animals like the Grevy Zebra and Reticulated
Giraffe. Also good for river life with crocs and hippos. Overnight at
Sarova Shaba
DAY 4 - SAMBURU
Early morning and afternoon game drive. Overnight at Savora Shaba.
DAY 5 - LAKE NAKURU
Drive East and continue down into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru
National Park. Afternoon game drive in this compact little park famous
for its flamingos and other birdlife, and for Leopard, Elephant, Buck
and many other species. Overnight at Lion Hill.
DAY 6 - MASAI MARA
Continue through the Great Rift Valley and its extinct volcanoes into
the land of the famous Masai tribe, and into the wildlife reserve named
after them. This is Kenya's most famous reserve, and in your afternoon
game dove you will have the opportunity to seek out the "Big Five' Lion,
Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo, and all other species which have
made this reserve so famous. Overnight at Siana Spring
DAY 7 - MASAI MARA
Early morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight at Siana Springs
DAY 8 - NAIROBI
Depart for Nairobi. (Clients can opt to fly back to Nairobi ). Dinner
at Carnivore and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hilton Mayfair
DAY 9 - NGORONGORO
After breakfast drive to Namanga border and change to Tanzanian Vehicles
and continue to Arusha for lunch. In the afternoon continue to Ngorongoro.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa
DAY 10 - NGORONGORO
Full day crater tour with a picnic lunch in this vast extinct crater.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa
DAY 11 - AMBOSELI Drive to Arusha for lunch and continue to the Namanga border. Change to Kenyan Vehicles and proceed to Amboseli, situated at the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro. Overnight at Ol Tukai
DAY 12 - TSAVO Early morning game drive at the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro. After breakfast drive to Tsavo arriving at the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at Ziwani.
DAY 13 - MOMBASA Early morning bird walk. After breakfast depart for Mombasa and drop off at Moi International Airport.
