Le Touessrok At Le Touessrok, on Trou D'eau Douce, all rooms have either a view of the beach or the sea. You will not forget that you are on a tropical island - this is not one of those five star hotels where, although supremely comfortable, you might be in any country or location. The pool, fed by the lagoon, meanders past the straw-hatted bars and restaurants where the food is delicious and, like Mauritian culture, may have European, Indian and Chinese influences. You may find yourself tempted by one of the many sports on offer, you may wish to be cast away for the day on one of the hotel's two islands - Ile aux Cerfs for invigorating water sports or the private, and more secluded Ilot Mangenie for a seductive interlude lazing on the sands at the beach bar, or you may wish to lie on a sun bed and do absolutely nothing in perfect comfort - waited on by the more than attentive staff.
