Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel, Zanzibar.

Located on an expanse of beautiful beach wilderness on the northern tip of Zanzibar, and protected by a coral reef, Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel is an ideal location for all forms of watersport, or merely relaxing in the temperate water while soaking up the equatorial sun.

The hotel is built from hand-cut fossilised coral limestone and other natural materials, and literally blends into the landscape. Our vision is for the hotel and nature to coexist harmoniously so that guests can enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings without forsaking too many comforts. An eco-sensitive approach has ensured that the delicate balance of the land and sea flora and fauna have been preserved.

The proximity and variety of the surrounding reefs makes Ras Nungwi the perfect diving destination, and the hotel has an on-site fully equipped dive centre, professionally run to international PADI standards. Dive adventures are available for all experience levels including beginners who can be trained to full PADI certification by our resident instructor. A wide range of other watersports is also available.
