DAY 1: SATURDAY
Arrive Cape Town by own arrangement. Dinner and overnight at the Lanzerac Manor and Winery.

DAY 2: SUNDAY
09h00 Depart for guided tour of Cape Winelands. Dinner and overnight at Lanzerac.

DAY 3: MONDAY
09h30 Depart hotel for Cape Town Station. 11h00 Rovos Rail's Pride of Africa departs for Pretoria with visit to Matjiesfontein Victorian Village.

DAY 4: TUESDAY
13h00 Arrive Kimberley for lunch with tour of "Big Hole" and diamond museum.

DAY 5: WEDNESDAY
12h00 Train arrives Rovos Rail's private station in Capital Park, Pretoria.

2002 & 2003 Departure Dates
13th November 2002
19th February, 19th March & 16th April 2003

DAY 1: WEDNESDAY
12h00 Guests meet at Rovos Rail's Capital Park station for introduction and a short tour of the railway depot. Lunch is served on the station platform after which guests are transferred to Wonderboom airport.
You board Convair 440 for 1-hour flight to Hoedspruit in the Kruger Park. On arrival you will transfer to Kapama and Thornybush Game Reserves with an afternoon / night game drive followed by dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: THURSDAY
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast and lunch. Time to relax before your afternoon / night game drive starting around 16h00 followed by dinner.

DAY 3: FRIDAY
A morning game drive for those up early followed by brunch. Around noon you will transfer to the airport for 3-hour flight to George. On arrival you will be transfered to Fancourt Golf Resort. You have the afternoon at leisure followed by dinner.

DAY 4: SATURDAY
An early breakfast ready for a scenic 1-hour drive to Oudtshoorn. You will have the opporyunity to visit the Cango Caves and Highgate Ostrich Farm with lunch. In the late afternoon you will travel back to Fancourt. Dinner at leisure.

DAY 5: SUNDAY
Another early breakfast with a tour by coach of Knysna followed by a lagoon cruise and lunch at Knysna Waterfront. After lunch you have time to explore at leisure before departing George airport for 1-hour flight to Cape Town. At around 17h30 you will arrive in Cape Town and transfer to the Cape Grace at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Dinner at hotel.

DAY 6: MONDAY
After breakfast you will depart for guided tour of the Cape Peninsula and Table Mountain Cable Way (weather permitting). Lunch is served in the Constantia Valley with late afternoonat leisure and dinner back at your hotel .

DAY 7: TUESDAY
After breakfast you will depart your hotel for the airport. You have two and a half hour flight up the Atlantic Ocean coastline to Lüderitz in Namibia, where you will have lunch. After lunch a 20-minute transfer by coach for a visit to the mining ghost-town of Kolmanskop. You will depart Lüderitz at around 16h00 for one and a half hour scenic flight over Sossusvlei to Walvis Bay. Here you will transfer through desert scenery to the Swakopmund Hotel and Entertainment Centre for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: WEDNESDAY
After breakfast, you have a 30-minute drive to Walvis Bay for a boat cruise to Pelican Point followed by lunch. Around 16h00 you will collected from Swakopmund Hotel by 4x4 vehicles for a traditional desert barbeque.

DAY 9: THURSDAY
An ealier breakfast this morning ready for a 3-hour flight via the impressive Skeleton Coast to Maun in Botswana. On arrival you will be flown in light aircraft to various camps in the Okavango Delta. Thiese include (Chiefs, Jao, Nxabega, Shinde, Khwai, Kwetsani, Xigera, Eagle Island and Duba) At your camp you will have lunch and time for a siesta before the late afternoon wilderness experience. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 10: FRIDAY
After breakfast - your game activities can be, a guided walk, a game drive or mokoro canoe trip until lunch. After lunch there is time for a siesta before the late afternoon outing. Dinner at the camp.

DAY 11: SATURDAY
After early morning activities and brunch, you fly by light aircraft to Maun airport where you connect with a 1-hour flight to Livingstone in Zambia. On arrival you transfer to the Royal Livingstone Hotel at the Victoria Falls for lunch. Again time to relax before a Sundowner Cruise on the Zambesi River around 16h00. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 12: SUNDAY
Day at leisure. An activities desk is provided in the foyer of the hotel. Farewell dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 13: MONDAY
After breakfast, transfer to Livingstone airport for 3-hour flight to Wonderboom airport in Pretoria where your adventure comes to a close
