Rovos Air (part of Rovos Rail), invites you to participate in an exclusive five star tour of South Africa, Victoria Falls and the Caprivi Strip in Namibia.

Day 1: Cape Town
On arrive in Cape Town airport in the morning you will be collected and transferred to the Mount Nelson Hotel for 3 nights on a bed & breakfast basis in a Superior Room. Since 1899, the gracious Mount Nelson Hotel has always been at the forefront of Cape Town hospitality and is still the most famous of South Africa's hotels. It is regarded as the epitome of elegance and the last word in luxury.

Day 2:Cape Town
A full day tour of the Winelands of the Cape. You call in at the historic towns of Paarl and Stellenbosch. On a selected estate you will view the cellar and enjoy a wine tasting with lunch en route. You return to Cape Town in the late afternoon. Overnight at Mount Nelson Hotel.

Day 3: Cape Town
A day of leisure to enjoy your pleasant surroundings of the Mount Nelson and the waterfront of Cape Town or visit some of the museums and other places of interest such as Table Mountain and Robben Island. Overnight at Mount Nelson Hotel.

Days 4 & 5: Rovos Rail
Today you join Rovos Rail at Cape Town Station for the journey to Pretoria. A journey of 2 nights and 3 days. Your accommodation is in a Royal Suite. Full Board

Accommodation on board the train is of the highest standard, combining the opulence of pre-war travel with modern innovations. They can be drawn by either Steam, Diesel or Electric locomotives operating at various stages of the journey.

The spacious Royal Suites each have a private lounge, en-suite bathroom and the option of twin or double-beds. The smaller Deluxe Suites also have a lounge area and an en suite bathroom.

Day 6: Pretoria
You arrive in Pretoria and transfer the short distance to the 4 star Irene Country Lodge for an overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis in a Suite Room.

Open your room doors wide, onto a private patio, an ideal place to enjoy a farm-fresh breakfast, or sundowner gazing across the meadow.

The interior is designed in variations of the English Country Manor style. Sheer good taste is evident in every detail such as the monogrammed linen, laundry bags and gowns in each bathroom. Stately solid wood furniture was custom made for the lodge, and the country theme can be traced in the rich fabrics used to create different characters for rooms with names such as African Dream, Ducks Wheat and Golfer.

Day 7: Rovos Rail
Today you head back to the Rovos Rail for your continued journey around South Africa before your flight to Victoria Falls. Full Board

Day 9: Rovos Air to Victoria Falls
Today you fly Livingstone, the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. From here you transfer across the border to the Victoria Falls Hotel, Zimbabwe on a bed & breakfast basis.

Established in 1904, the historic Victoria Falls Hotel overlooks the Victoria Falls Bridge and the gorges below. Situated in acres of private garden, the charm and tranquil atmosphere of the hotel has earned international acclaim. The elegant decor and the old world charm of this gracious hotel is reflected in the wide colonial verandahs and the Livingstone room with its superb cuisine.

Day 10: Victoria Falls
A day at leisure to enjoy the sight of the falls or participate in one of the many additional activities available to you. Overnight at Victoria Falls Hotel

Days 11, 12 & 13: Caprivi Strip
You will be collected and transferred across the border into Botswana and again across another border into Namibia where you will reach Impalila Island Lodge. You can relax at the lodge or go on any of the game activities that are available to you during your 3 night All Inclusive stay with them. Overnights at Impalila Island lodge.

The architecture of Impalila Island Lodge incorporates wood, thatch and giant baobab trees –– offering a protective cradle of arms to our island of refuge. Eight en-suite chalets of comfort are decorated in the rich colours of Africa –– it is difficult not to sleep deeply when lulled by the sound of the Mambova rapids. Uninterrupted river views and privacy.

Day 14: Homeward Bound
In the mid morning you will transfer back to Victoria Falls airport to connect with your flight to Johannesburg and onward flights home afer seeing some of Africa's most stunning scenery in a most relaxing fashion.
