THE
SEYCHELLES Paradise
Sun You are in a breathtakingly beautiful tropical Indian Ocean paradise, just four degrees south of the equator and a thousand miles from anywhere. Your french colonial style chalet opens onto a spacious verandah overlooking the Cote d'Or - one of the most magnificent stretches of coastline in the world. Spend your leisurely days lazing on an exquisite white beach surrounded by dramatic granite outcrops; stroll the network of footpaths that criss-cross the island through lush equatorial forests; choose a private cove to call your own for the afternoon. You might like to venture to one of the smaller islands by glass-bottomed boat and glimpse the magical undersea world of stunning coral formations and rainbow coloured shoals of fish.
You might take a closer look,
using the comprehensive scuba diving facilities of the Underwater Centre
at Paradise Sun. Five-star PADI rated diving instruction is available
in English, French and German. The Watersport Centre provides windsurfers
and canoes free of charge. If wandering through the forest takes your
fancy, walk through the Valee de Mai - once called the original Garden
of Eden. This is the home of the rare black parrot and the intriguing
coco de mer palm. Other treasures include giant tortoises, flying foxes, Vacoa palms and many other indigenous species found nowhere else on earth. Return to Paradise Sun for an evening celebration of romance. Watch the sun set over an ocean horizon as you sip an exotic island cocktail at La Providence, the beach restaurant. Later, live entertainment by the local Camtole group accompanies the sumptuous Creole culinary masterpieces created by Louis Ragonde, our famous chef. Beachfront Bar and Restaurant
