DAY 1 NAIROBI - ngong house
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta Airport - Nairobi where you will be met and transferred
to the truly inspirational Ngong House where Paul Verleysen, the charming
owner, has provided the ultimate luxuries of space, light, and true style.
Situated on the outskirts of Nairobi, on 10 acres of private land, it
offers peerless views of the misty Ngong Hills and the surrounding countryside.
Day at leisure. Overnight on full board basis, inclusive of drinks (except
Champagne).

DAY 2-3 LAKE MANYARA - maji
moto
After breakfast transfer to the Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight
to Kilimanjaro Airport. Lunch in Arusha. Transfer to Arusha Airport for
your scheduled flight to Lake Manyara, once the haunt of big game hunters
such as Hemmingway. Maji Moto takes its name from the nearby hot springs
and lies beneath the dramatic escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Here
you will set out with skilled guides and 4x4 vehicles to explore the scenic
wilderness, famous for its tree-climbing lions. The reserve also boasts
elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodiles and over 340 species of birds
including the flamingos. Fine cuisine and personalised service are an
integral part of the "grand safari" experience. Elegant dinners are served
in the "boma" by the camp fire, where open air kitchen involves guests
in the flamboyant cooking of Africa. Overnight at Maji Moto Tented Camp

DAY 4-5 SERENGETI - kleins camp
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip
for your scheduled flight to the intimate Kleins Camp, set on some 10,000
hectares of private land, just south of the Masai Mara, along the ancient
migratory route of wildebeest and elephant. The land is owned by the local
Masai, who are stakeholders in the camp. The camp's cottages are designed
with stunning interiors and offer dramatic views of the Grumeti River
Valley. Day and night excursions into the Serengeti wilderness are led
by expert guides, and here you will experience one of Africa's most intact
ecosystems. Other activities include game walks, bush breakfasts and lunches,
cultural visits and relaxation by the swimming pool. Overnight at Kleins
Camp on full board basis, inclusive of soft drinks, beers, spirits and
house wines (exclusive of cellar wines, cognacs, champagne, cigars).
DAY 6-8 SERENGETI - grumeti

After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to
Grumeti River Camp, situated on a bywater of the Grumeti River, known
for its huge crocodiles and the great wildebeest migration. The tents
are a delight and contain huge, monumental beds, of Tanzanian cyprus,
that envelope the guest in luxury. Morning and afternoon game drives are
fully interpretative, and explore the Serengeti savannahs and woodlands,
which have the largest mass of free-ranging animals on earth. On one of
the days you will get closer to nature with a bush breakfast and also
see the wonders of the Serengeti from a birds eye view, with a Balloon
Safari over this great wilderness. Overnight at Grumeti River Camp on
full board basis and includes soft drinks, beers, spirits and house wines
(exclusive of cellar wines, cognacs, champagne, cigars).
DAY9-10 NGORONGORO - ngorongoro
crater lodge
Road transfer from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, perched on
the rim of the ancient volcanic crater, one of the natural wonders of
the world. Designed to be all but invisible from the crater itself, this
supremely glamorous lodge is perfect post modern architecture with a blend
of glorious baroque, African and English country house decorative styles.
It is a perfect base for your daily game drives into the crater where
some of the last black rhino are protected, black mained lions stalk the
grass lands, and the greatest permanent concentration of game in Africa
lies waiting for you. You will also have the opportunity to take expertly
guided game and bird walks around the lodge, Overnight at Ngorongoro Crater
Lodge on full board basis and includes soft drinks, beers, spirits and

DAY11-14 MNEMBA ISLAND - mnemba
club
Drive from Ngorongoro to Arusha airstrip for your scheduled flight to
Zanzibar. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Mnemba Island,
a tropical paradise. Mnemba Island is protected by a tranquil lagoon and
boasts spectacular coral reefs. Accommodation is in a "banda" made from
traditional Zanzibari palm-matting, Each banda is completely secluded
and leads onto the white coral-sand beach. There is no dress code and
you will probably pare your wardrobe down to swimwear and sarong, Although
relaxation is Mnemba's hallmark, diversion is provided by the snorkelling
and diving off the beautiful coral reefs (2 dives per day), fully instructed
diving courses and water sports. Meals may consist of freshest seafood
and fish which are often simply grilled or barbecued on the beach. Overnight
at Mnemba Club on full board basis and includes soft drinks, beers, spirits
and house wines (exclusive of cellar wines, cognacs, champagne, cigars).
DAY 15 DEPARTURE
After the supreme Tanzanian experience, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for
your onward housebound flight.
