8 NIGHT ZAMBIAN DISCOVERER
Victoria Falls - Kafue National Park - South Luangwa Valley

Day 1: Victoria Falls at Sussi & Chuma Luxury Camp
A representative will meet you on arrival at Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport and transfer you to the lodge. The Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park is best known for its giraffe and white rhino but also boasts buffalo, zebra, sable, eland, wildebeest, transitory elephant and many other species. Our Lodge is situated on the northern edge of the Park, where luxurious tree houses hide discreetly amongst giant ebony trees on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River. During the next two days your activities will include: game drives/walks with experienced guides, visits to the Falls themselves and as optional extras, a choice of all the ‘adrenaline’ activities for which the Falls is famous.

Day 2: Victoria Falls at Sussi & Chuma Luxury Camp
A second day in which to enjoy some of the activities you didn’t have time for the previous day. More excitement and adventure - or pampering and romance, depending on your preferences - on the banks of Africa’s most spectacular river.

Day 3: Kafue National Park at Moshi Luxury Tented Camp
Depart after breakfast for your flight to Kafue National Park (approx 1 hour) and Moshi Tented Safari Camp. Your accommodation here consists of spacious walk-in canvas safari tent. Each tent contains private bathroom facilities. Paved well-lit pathways, cleared of undergrowth connect the tents to the main bar/lounge. The Natural vegetation is otherwise left as undisturbed possible. Your options are open: to either walk under the guidance of an armed professional guide or to ride in an open safari vehicle in this untamed area, one of the largest National Parks on the continent.

Day 4: Kafue National Park at Moshi Luxury Tented Camp
Explore the northern area of the Park which consists mostly of the large Busanga floodplain and Miombo woodland. This ecological diversity has resulted in probably the widest range of mammal species of any park in Zambia - including red lechwe, puku, sable and roan antelope, waterbuck, tsessebe, hartebeest and buffalo to name a few. The Kafue is particularly noted for its large prides of lion and leopard sightings are not unusual.

Day 5: Kafue National Park at Moshi Luxury Tented Camp
Another day of exploring and walking in this remote wilderness where sightings of other safari enthusiasts are a rare occurrence.

Days 6, 7 and 8: South Luangwa National Park at Chichele Presidential Lodge
Transfer by charter flight (via Lusaka) to Mfuwe airport near the main gate of the South Luangwa National Park. The transfer from Mfuwe to Chichele Lodge takes approximately 1 hour in a safari vehicle, but don’t expect to get bored! The entire journey is a safari in itself as we pass through the unique South Luangwa National Park on our way to the Lodge.

You could see elephant or even lion so stay alert! The Lodge has a magnificent hilltop site with sumptuous, air-conditioned accommodation and a turn of the century hunting lodge atmosphere. Experts have called South Luangwa one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, not surprisingly since the concentrations of game around the Luangwa River and its ox-bow lagoons are dramatic. In addition the topography of the area makes it ideal for walking safaris allowing guests to explore the river and its tributaries in the care of an experienced guide. The Park is noted for its big game species particularly leopard, lion and elephant and a whole host of antelope species.

Day 9: Transfer back to Mfuwe for your flight to Lusaka international airport and onward connections.
