Tongabezi Lodge
Set in a secluded, tranquil grove of African ebony trees on the banks of the Zambezi River, upstream from Victoria Falls, Zambia, with an emphasis on romance and highly personalised service. Accommodation is in five luxury cottages and four spacious open planned thatched houses. All rooms have magnificent views of the river and a private verandah. Each of the houses has unique architectural features, king size beds and large airy mosquito canopies.

All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, flush loos with views and running hot and cold water. The cottages – four doubles and one twin with oversized beds, have ensuite bathrooms and private decks with a view.

This ideal setting is complete with a relaxing lounge and dining area, swimming pool and grass tennis court. Join our guests for a hosted dinner or enjoy private service in your new found exotic home. As the candles are lit, be serenaded by the music of Africa and the twinkle of the stars.

Well presented cuisine with an indigenous flair will tantalize the taste buds. Let the romanticism of Africa capture you and enjoy our unique sampan dinner in the middle of the Zambezi and have each course delivered by canoe.

Fill your days with activities that will live on forever. Visit the Cultural Village, Handicraft markets, museum and our own sponsored school. Relax at our own rock faced swimming pool, play a game of lawn tennis or croquet. Take a canoe or boat and glide by the pods of hippo, watch the crocs and elephant on the water's edge, as buck prance through the forests. Listen to the trill of hundreds of species of bird and the shrill call of the eagles. Access is from Victoria Falls, Livingstone and Kasane by road or air transfers.

Sindabezi Island Camp
A tiny island paradise close to the Victoria Fall with magnificent Zambezi River views. The flood plain of the mighty Zambezi and the views of the wildlife in the surrounding Zambezi National Park will capture your soul. Access is by banana boat and during this 20 minute ride guests have the opportunity to become familiar with this mighty river and its inhabitants, or for the more adventurous access can be arranged by canoe.

Spot a pod hippo wallowing in the nearby waters or watch other game as they make their way to hunting and grazing grounds. The birdlife in the area is prolific and you will soon be able to identify the species by their unmistakable calls.

Four thatch chalets (3 twin and 1 double), each having spectacular views over the Zambezi. So exclusive we can only accommodate 8. Bringing you back into touch with nature, each open fronted private chalet has every amenity you could wish for.

You can enjoy a hot shower and flushing loo. There is no electricity and at night the glow of lamps and the flicker of candle light will rekindle memories of yesteryear. The island is fully staffed and qualified guides host guests and are available for boat trips or canoeing.
